Peeled tomatoes by La Valle are Italian tomatoes from Naples. These peeled tomatoes are excellent for pasta dishes, pizzas, meats, stews, and other Italian recipes.
Throw out Delmonte, Hunts, and all that similar junk. This product tastes like you were eating in an Italian restaurant...not here, but ITALY. What a difference. With only a handful of typical ingredients (garlic, olive oil, parsley, oregano, wine) you can make a sauce that is superb. Seriously, $2.00 more for a product that is not overprocessed and made with partially ripened tomatoes - you'd be nuts to not spend $.30 more per serving. So glad we bought La Valle!
