Shipping policy

 

What is your processing time?

    • We generally ship orders received before 12pm Eastern Standard Time the same day, and orders received after 12pm Eastern Standard Time the following business day, excluding Federal Holidays

What shipping methods do you offer?

    • We offer both standard and express shipping methods. Standard shipping is free on orders over $35 in the US (unless for products marked as excluded from free shipping). We ship with all major carriers, including FedEx, UPS, Amazon Shipping and USPS.

    • Please note: orders shipped with Amazon Shipping are fulfilled from our warehouse. We fulfill 100% of orders and do not outsource fulfillment to anyone.

Where do you ship to?

    • We ship to all US states (including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico) as well as Canada. Orders to Puerto Rico and/or to PO boxes must be shipped with USPS. Some items are not eligible for shipping to Puerto Rico and/or PO boxes

For international orders, who is responsible for customs duties, taxes, and import fees?

    • International orders to Canada will be subject to duties and import fees charged by the Canadian government. We do our best to show these at checkout, but these are ultimately at the discretion of the Canadian government. Customers are responsible for paying import and duties fees.  If your package gets returned to us due to a customer not paying for import fees/duties, the order will get cancelled and a restocking fee will be assessed for the amount of shipping and return costs. 

What happens if a package is lost in transit?

    • We always strive to make it right for every customer and make sure your order arrives safely! In the rare event that a package is lost in transit, we ask customers to reach out to us at service@brickovenbaker.com, as well as the carrier to initiate a search for the lost package. Carriers typically ask for 48-72 hours to locate the package. If a package cannot be located, we will ship an immediate replacement (or provide you a refund, if you'd prefer).

    • In rare cases, packages can be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, carrier issues, customs). In these situations, we ask to please let us know at service@brickovenbaker.com, and to give the carrier a few additional days to complete delivery. 

My package shows as delivered, but I can't find it. What do I do?

    • If a package shows as delivered but you're not able to find it, we ask that you contact us that same day, so we can ask the carrier to come and resolve the issue immediately.

What happens if a package is damaged during shipping?

    • As a small family business we ship each order ourselves and we take great pride in packaging each item with extreme care. Despite our best efforts, occasionally packages get damaged in transit. In the rare event this happens, we ask that you immediately contact us at service@brickovenbaker.com so we can assist you. Please share pictures of the damage, and if possible take a picture of the box with the shipping label on it (carriers often asks us for this). We will make sure to make this right and resolve your issue.

What happens if I accidentally provided an incorrect or incomplete address at checkout?

    • Please contact us soon as possible at service@brickovenbaker.com! If the order hasn't shipped yet, we will do our best to modify the address, though please know that's not always possible. If a package is already in transit, the customer will be responsible for any cost associated with reshipping the order. If your package gets returned to us due to undeliverable address, a restocking fee of 50% will be assessed on these returns.
