GI.METAL - Pizza Peels

What is a Pizza Peel?

If you have ever seen pizza being made you have seen a pizza peel, but you might not have known the name. Commonly called paddles or spatulas, pizza peels are essential tools to the pizza making process. These speciality tools have a wide flat end that can support an entire uncooked pizza and a small handle that will let the baker get the pizza into the oven while keeping a safe distance from the heat.

GI.METAL

Coming out of Italy, Italians know a thing or two about pizza. GI.METAL is the premier designer and producer of pizza peels and other pizza tools. In their own words:

"Creativity, research and perfectionism come together in a series of tools designed for a wide range of uses: for professional and recreational use alike, for those who make and serve pizza and those who handle foodstuffs, kitchenware and food courses in restaurant kitchens and dining rooms."

This combination of passion and experience produces a line of high-quality, long-lasting and intelligently designed products. Lightweight aluminum gives you the strength and stability you need to make pizza after pizza in your restaurant or your backyard.

What’s so special about perforated peels? Check out the video below to see a demonstration of how the perforated peel reduces friction and allows you to add flour or cornmeal while permitting the excess to fall off through the slots.

We are PROUD to offer these serious tools for serious pizza makers!!!
