Orders typically ship in 1-2 working days (Mon-Fri) from the time that you place your order. In some cases it may take longer due to stock availability, orders for items that we don't usually stock. It may take 3-4 days to get your orders into the hands of a carrier.

Need Something Fast?
If you need to light a fire under us to make sure that you get your items for your big party on Saturday, then contact us to see what we can do for you. We'll work with you, but please give us a fighting chance. We've gotten emails on Thursday afternoon from people who wanted us to ship 20 lbs of flour or a set of tools to arrive on Friday or Saturday. There is only so much we can do. See the section below on shipping flour.
Requiring USPS or UPS/Fedex Ground Delivery
When you order from us, we reserve the right to ship using various carriers.
We'll choose one that we feel provides the fastest delivery time, reasonable cost, and other factors depending on the size, shape, and weight of the shipment.
If you require us to use a certain carrier for any reason, contact us or let us know in the comments box when you place your order.
Heavy or Oversized Items
Heavy items such as the flour or canned tomatoes will typically ship by USPS Flat Rate Box. It's the most economical way to ship flour across the country. Although, if you're in the New England area, UPS might be the carrier of choice and we may use because it's fast too for local shipping.
Many of our long oven tools such as the pizza peels and ash shovels require long boxes. This may incur an extra oversize fee of $8 or more. If you order multiple tools and we ship them together, you should only incure the extra fee one time (not per item).
Fair Shipping Charges
Our goal is to provide fair shipping rates. Any questions on shipping costs are welcomed at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you feel that the rates calculated by the shopping cart are not optimal, contact us and we'll see if there is a cheaper way to ship your items.
When Your Order Is Shipped
You should get an email with a tracking number for most shipments.
If you haven't received a shipment confirmation within 3-4 days after placing an order, and you have checked your junk/spam folder as well, then please contact us by email at email@example.com and provide your name, email address and order number and we will find out what the status of your order is and resend any tracking numbers.
